  I was extremely excited when I found out that Popeyes was opening in Sherwood Park! I had high expectations for this location, and they were fulfilled. I have ordered twice, and although the menu selection is not as big as the one in SE Edmonton, there is still lots to choose from. The chicken is crispy, and the white meat is moist and flavourful unlike KFC. The biscuits are a bit sweet for my liking (tastes a lot like birthday cake) but they’re still delicious. I loved their coleslaw and cajun fries. I hope to try one of their desserts next time. I hope Popeyes will continue to be successful in Western Canada, because it is quite possibly my new favourite fast food chain. 5 stars!

  I love Popeye's because they are always fresh and taste awesome! However, at this locations, I waited 15 minutes for 2 boxes of boneless wings. First box of wings was awesome, but the fries were not fresh. Second box was cold chicken wings with not fresh fries either. Terrible experience. The locations at the 17th street though is way better. I expect fresh food especially if I'm asked to wait 15 minutes. Very disappointing.

  Popeyes is the pinnacle of fast food fried chicken franchises. They've been popping up all over the place in Alberta with good reason, the chicken is juicy, the batter is crunchy (unlike another southern chicken franchise), and the spicy chicken actually has flavor instead of just plain heat.

  Great service, good food. But for a man over 220 lbs you can fit in any seat comfortably. Take out only i guess. Really should have catered to all shapes and sizes when they did the seating chart!!

  Well that was disappointing, ordered a 2 piece meal with 2 sides. The chicken was pouring grease out all over the table to start . The side of macaroni and cheese had clearly been sitting there for quite some time due to the hard discolored lair of cheese and the beans and rice I wouldn’t feed my dog. Chicken strips were pretty tasty though.
