  The items here are mostly great. But there are a lot of employees that are uneducated about proper petcare and it really worries me. Before anyone works with pets and pet items, they should have a full understanding of it.

  I refuse to shop here based on their cruel shipping handling and transporting methods. All of the animals have a large chance of dying before they even make it to stores. They live in wire cages or plastic bins with feces all over the place. The animals are forced to breed, amatuears preform surgeries and usually cause servere injuries. The “caretakers” for these animals couldn’t care less about their well being and sometimes kill the animals with their bare hands if they escape or have gotten injured. If believe that what they do is wrong than you should never by an animal there or even support them by buying food or toys.

  Sale items are often out of stock, staff the last few times I've been in aren't as friendly or helpful as in the past. Aisles have become clogged with stock and it's hard to push a buggy through. Staff don't seem terribly well trained as they need to consult with the MOD for most of the questions. Hope it improves, was a stellar location just a year ago.

  Didn't have the large bag of nutro max cat food. Had to buy the small one. Usually stocked quite well. We go here for most of are cat and dog food.

  We've shopped the Sherwood park and east Edmonton location for the past few years, and are always so happy to shop at the Sherwood park location. They have friendly staff, and always have someone knowledgable on shift to call upon for advice. The prices are a bit on the high range, but they schedule so many sales that we find it quite manageable and less expensive for better products. My son is always treated so well, and the staff here have always gone out of their way to include and educate him in what they are doing.
